NextWave Network Coverage

NextWave is enabling advanced private network services in major markets like San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Dallas, Philadelphia and New York.  With its licensed Band 41 resources, NextWave can support private network services in key metropolitan areas.  In addition to immediately available facility-based private network capabilities, NextWave began offering private wide-area network services on its own independent network in early 2023. Starting in New York, this service is now expanding to cover all of NextWave’s key urban markets.

NextWave New York Metro Area Network

The New York Metro area network is a “first of its kind” system.  With it, NextWave is creating a high-performance / high-security mobile broadband system that is wholly devoted to mission critical private network services.  Using a completely independent Band 41 network, NextWave decouples private network users from the risks associated with sharing resources with generic consumer applications.  The NextWave network is built from inception for secure, redundant and guaranteed performance.

Phase I of the New York Metro network build covers large portions of the metro area, including deep signal coverage in enterprise, industrial, and transit areas.  Phase II of the build will expand residential area coverage across approximately 15 million people, and significantly multiply the frequency reuse factor to add significant broadband capacity.
